About Us

We Write About Cool Tools. If you work on the internet, access information on the internet, occasionally sleep on your keyboard, or live with someone who does, you find tools. Tools can be applications, websites, objects, processes, you name it and they are all over the place. There are tools that are cool, junky tools that are not really cool at all, and many variations thereof. We like and use good tools everyday. When we find good tools we tell you about them.

Today’s Best Tools was created by James M. Helms. James is the owner of Informitus Media, a new Internet Photo of James M. HelmsMarketing company  based out of Portland, OR. James background is diverse, he has worked in a variety of fields including (but certainly not limited to) Prep-Cook, Carpenters Apprentice, Deck Hand, Firefighter, EMT-Intermediate, Tribal Chief (long story), Medical Sergeant, Internet Marketer & business owner. James Received his Bachelor of Art’s in Business from Concordia University.

Have a need for Internet based Marketing? (such as search engine placement, reputation management, analytics implementation & analysis…and more) His company is new…his client base is relatively small…he would be happy to discuss a project or provide ongoing monthly services…contact him by email!

When he is not working (pshh, haha) he spends time with his wife and children and occasionally works on little side projects away from the computer (electronics, biology, photography (bwaaaha yeah, I’m trying), and astronomy). Though rare, he is known to enjoy painting with acrylics. NOTE: He didn’t say he was good at painting with acrylics, he just said that he “enjoy(s)” painting with acrylics.

The Acting CESF (Chief Executive Stick Figure)

Today’s Best Tools would like to introduce the CESF of Today’s Best Tools, Bob Toole. Bob’s primary Bob Toole Imageresponsibility is to aid the visitors of the site in their understanding of the tools presented within the screencasts. Bob has an extensive amount of experience in a variety of visual media forms. He has appeared in countless video’s, pictures, and drawings throughout the world. He most notably appears in early childhood drawings, although in those drawings his legs are attached to his head without the upper and lower torso attached.

Bob isn’t around all the time but when he does show up it’s for a good reason. In his downtime Bob hangs out at his place of origin Dabbleboard where he spends time in the left side margins. He likes to hang out and just chill.

Though he is very busy assisting artistically challenged people throughout the world you can normally find him on Twitter where he is hoping to connect with a wide variety of people throughout the world.

You can also contact Bob directly by emailing him at Bob@informitus.com.
