A new site has emerged that allows you to schedule and send SMS, emails, and status updates to popular social networking sites in advance. Sendible also allows you to manage events and purchase / create advertisements that are sent along with other peoples messages. The combination of advanced scheduled messages, status updates across platforms, event management, and access to advertising holds a lot of potential for users. The site is in public beta and is packed full of potential.

After you create an account you can sync personal contacts with your Sendible account. Create and send email’s and SMS updates now or schedule them to release in the future. Create and schedule status updates in Facebook or Twitter too. The ability to send alerts to your email or mobile is cool, you can remind yourself or others at scheduled times days, weeks, or months in advance.
The event management features are a powerfully simple way to manage events. After creating an event you can invite guests using Email, SMS or Social Networking messages. After setting up your event Sendible takes care of the rest of the details. It automates the process of sending the link, reminding them to RSVP on time, notification of event updates and a 24 hour reminder of the upcoming event.
The platform is Ad sponsored. All the messages are free to send because of the sponsored ads that are sent with the messages. You can purchase credits and eliminate the advertising in the SMS text messages. Likewise you can purchase your own advertising to be sent with other users messages who choose to use the free service.
The advertising is created using long and short forms so that it can be sent out in both email, status, and SMS messages. When you create you advertisement you select keywords that you want your advertising associated with. The keywords that you select are tied to the textual content in the messages for targeted advertising results. You also have the ability to select the general geographical location that you want your advertising targeted at.
There are a variety of uses for scheduled messaging. If you wanted to take a vacation but make it appear as if you are on top of things, its possible with Sendible. Tired of keeping up with happy birthday messages? No worries anymore, import the birthdays of your friends and let Sendible remind you about them. Likewise, if you really wanted to pre-schedule, you could create birthday messages and schedule them in advance.
